Orchestral Triangles have been widely used since the 18th century in works from Haydn and Mozart and by the 19th century became an instrument of great importance in the orchestra. Often (and mistakenly) classed as an easy instrument to play, the triangle is an instrument that requires much practice and precision, involving subtle techniques and complicated rhythmic skill.
