The Patchblocks Neo Module is a truly innovative modular synthesizer unit, compact in size but powerful when it comes to designing sounds. The Patchblock allows you to develop your own sounds and DSP patches. This works by either editing existing patches or creating your own sounds using a combination of DSP building blocks. Once you’ve created your own programs, you can upload them directly to the Patchblock using a USB cable, and change your program as often as you want. Once you have uploaded your program, the Patchblock can run as a standalone unit, lasting up to 10 hours thanks to the USB-rechargeable LiPo battery.
Once you have your patches, the Patchblock opens up a world of possibilities. One of the main applications is the ability to use the Patchblock as a standalone synth. The Patchblock allows you to play sequences of synth-sounds, drums and more. Its wide range of applications makes it one of the most versatile modular synth units on the market. You can also combine different Patchblocks together by using cables or directly snapping them together. This gives you the ability to create a custom modular setup with a range of different Patchblock units.
With its highly portable design, the Patchblock is ideal for musicians on the move, allowing you to create ideas and sounds anywhere you go. The compact design also allows you to connect several modules together simply by snapping the enclosures together for daisy-chaining capabilities, opening up a world of synthesis possibilities. The Patchblock also features a 3.5mm stereo input, allowing you to turn it into an external effects processor, ideal for Filters, Delays, Distortion and more. The clear blue enclosure allows you to see all the internal circuitry, with the Blue and Yellow versions even glowing under a blacklight.
