Designed in collaboration with Mark Barton (MRB), the Cherry Audio Rackmode Signal Processor is the first of its kind to create an all-in-one virtual recreation of this revered effects unit. Modelling the circuits down to the minutia, the collection is indistinguishable in sound to the original, harnessing the charm and vintage flair that only analog equipment can provide.
The collection includes a Vocoder (instrument and effects versions), Phaser, Ring Modulator, String Filter, Frequency Shifter, Graphic EQ and Parametric EQ. Designed with the modern producer in mind, these rack-effects still exude the class and tone of the original hardware, however have been updated to accommodate modern producers. Presets, syncable LFOs, stereo processing and full Apple Silicon M1 native support allows you to freely express your creativity in however way you need to enhance your music.
During a time of musical expansion in the late '70s and early '80s, the need for new and exciting musical instruments was evident. Keen to explore a new avenue, the Signal Processor was developed by Moog Music to present rack-mounted effects processed that could deliver the in-demand studio sounds of the era.
