MIDI Interfaces

MIDI Interfaces are designed for a number of different purposes. MIDI interfaces can connect synthesizers, drum machines and other external equipment together to sequence clock time for playing live, recording MIDI signals or triggering external MIDI signals.

Connecting MIDI to a computer or iOS device allows notes to be recorded or played back from external equipment. This can be particularly useful in a live setup or when using older hardware that doesn’t support USB.
