Key Features
Amplify your sound with a piezo pickup. The Meinl Artisan Edition Pickup Cajon features four pre-tuned cajon strings, span across the inside of the playing surface, providing crisp snare tones with extreme clarity. A 9-ply, 12mm thick Baltic birch resonating body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that projects with warmth. And, handcrafted in Spain - you can be assured that you're getting your money's worth.
When amplification is needed, simply plug into an amp or PA system. The piezo pickup sits on the inside of the playing surface and captures both bass and snare tones with extreme clarity to optimise live performances. The sound of this Artisan Pickup Cajon is very much focused on the bass tones. With a special bass reflex system, the low-end notes are enhanced to provide a deeper bass sound - perfect for cutting through an acoustic mix.
