XSR Sound and Performance

Sabian's XSR series cymbals are designed with care and precision, crafted from pure Sabian B20 Bronze using many of the processes they used in the creation of their Evolution and X-Plosion cymbals and then given a pin-point lathing and hand-hammered to a professional standard. The trickle-down technology helps to enhance the cymbals profile as well as redesigning and reshaping the bell to accelerate the overall tone of the cymbals.

Bronze construction

The XSR Cymbal series features B20 bronze construction. This type of bronze is mainly made up of copper and tin and has a reputation for being difficult to work with. However, the expert craftsmanship at Sabian continually produce cymbals that provide versatile style to suit genres ranging from blues to rock. The in-house manufacturing allows Sabian to create a specific, unique design and to help drummers find their ideal sound.
