The Rapier Saffire 12 draws its inspiration from the golden era of British guitar design. Its body shape and styling pay tribute to the original Sapphire 12, a favourite among 60s and 70s players, while subtle refinements improve performance and playability.

Finished in elegant Vintage White with chrome hardware and a split scratchplate, it captures that unmistakable retro charm. Every curve and contour is designed with both visual appeal and player comfort in mind, giving you a guitar that feels familiar yet fresh in the hands.

Premium tonewoods and comfortable playability

The Okoume body gives the Saffire 12 its warm, resonant character with a lively top end that complements its shimmering 12-string tone. The maple neck with a soft “C” profile fits naturally in your hand, promoting fast and accurate fretting.

A 12-inch rosewood fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets provide smooth playability, while the bound edges add a refined touch. With its generous 49mm nut width, there’s plenty of space for complex chords and ringing harmonies, making it easy to enjoy the natural depth of a 12-string setup.

Equipped with three custom-wound Entwistle Astrosonic single-coil pickups, the Saffire 12 delivers bright, articulate tones that retain clarity across all registers. Each pickup is built with 7mm alnico 5 magnets for a strong, even response.

The ATN5 rotary switch expands the tonal palette, providing five additional settings that range from acoustic-style sparkle to midrange boost and high-end chime.
