Solid Cedar & Wild Cherry Construction

The Seagull S6 Cedar Original Slim features a solid cedar top, which not only offers an idyllic response to picking techniques but will only sound better with age. The S6's solid top produces a rich, dark tonality with plenty of pleasing warmth whilst also producing plenty of bottom-end with swelling, dark overtones. Additionally, this solid piece of cedar projects a stunning response to lighter techniques and a wide variety of fingerpicking styles. The solid top is coupled with wild cherry back and sides, delivering a tone that falls between the mellow warmth of mahogany, and the bright-sizzle of maple.

Original Slim S6 Body

The Seagull S6 Cedar features a body similar in shape and proportions to the traditional dreadnought, but is built as a slimmer version for comfortable playability. The S6's body projects an enormous voice and maintains overall tonal balance whilst offering an idyllic response to a lighter touch. Additionally, the bold shape produces a rich, full sound, perfect for a wide variety of genres and techniques. Silver Leaf Maple Neck

Constructed from silver leaf maple, the S6's neck offers a sonically pleasing rich-warmth and a punchy mid-range. Silver leaf maple also projects a great response to a wide variety of techniques whilst a slimmer nut makes fast-paced techniques a breeze to play. The S6's slimmer neck also offers comfortable playability, perfect for long, enduring sets and studio sessions. Furthermore, the neck also has a semi-gloss finish for a nice, smooth playing experience.

Equipped with Electronics

The Seagull S6 Cedar comes equipped with the stylish and sophisticated Godin QIT preamp system, offering basic sound tweaking for live and rehearsal environments. The QIT features rotary controls for volume, bass, and treble, enabling players to tweak their sound to personal preference. In addition, the preamp offers a built-in tuner, which enables precise tuning for live or rehearsal settings. As well as this, the QIT is able to faithfully project the guitar's natural voice to ensure a clear and pure amplified performance.
