Constructed to accurately recreate vintage British-style hardware EQs, the Fat Bax Plug-in delivers classic analog warmth and detail, making it ideal for mastering applications. Traditionally known for its smoothness and transparency, the Bax EQ will enhance the sound of your track whilst blending naturally to the sound, giving it a completely transparent and seamless sound. An aggressive high-frequency is perfect for adding brightness to dull tracks, especially useful for bringing out the articulation of vocal performances in the mix without increasing the level and offsetting the balance. The low-frequency dial is the perfect solution for mix-buss processing, controlling the unruly bass frequencies that can create a 'boxy' sound and eat up headroom. Tight and powerful low-end

Ideal for mixing instruments that are heavily low-end based such as drums, bass guitars or even synthesizers, the Fat Bax EQ Plug-in lets you tighten up your low-end while adding punch and energy. The secret is the two shelves, one which boosts while the other attenuates at a slightly lower frequency. When boosting and cutting similar frequencies in the low-end, the Bax EQ Plug-in tightens up the extreme and unnecessary lows that create 'congested' and 'boxy' tracks and eat up your headroom all the while boosting higher bass frequencies for energy and movement.

Use it live, use it in the studio

Compatible with both your DAW host and the PreSonus StudioLive Series III mixers, the PreSonus Fat Bax EQ Plug-in enables you to mix using high-quality plug-ins on stage, no matter what other equipment is available to you. Alternatively, recording studios using StudioLive Series III mixers can lighten the CPU usage from their computers by processing directly onto your digital mixer.
