Recording with this versatile microphone is certain to provide incredibly accurate and rich recordings. In order to capture your source perfectly, there are three polar patterns to choose from. The omnidirectional pattern captures sound from all around the microphone and is great for capturing your source naturally within your room. There is a figure eight pattern - this provides side rejection which gives you more separation, providing very rich recordings. And finally, there is a cardioid pattern which has a brilliant front response but isolates the rear of the microphone to provide precise recordings - great for vocals and guitar cabs.

Any context you use the MA-1000 on will sound professional and exceptional. The airy-top end which sounds incredibly sweet adds a sense of realism to the recordings - and gives you plenty to work with during mixdown.

It also has some great features that help set it apart. The switchable 15dB pad helps you record louder instruments with the same response as quieter ones. The low cut filter allows you to record more vibrant recordings. And it also comes with a finely engineered Sling-Shock cradle.

The MA-1000's airy character is ideal for recording acoustic guitars, capturing every nuance of the instrument - use the bass roll off to bring the vibrant highs to the centre. The same can be said for recording choirs - using the cardioid setting to pick up the power of group performance. The Mojave MA-1000 can flex into electric guitars too. It is able to pick up the full expression of every minute detail. Resulting in amazing tube amp recordings with limited adjustment of amplifier settings. And of course, the detail from vocal recordings is second to none. No matter the performer's vocal range, the MA-1000 picks up singing and spoken word accurately and with plenty of warmth.
